Class Trip 2007 (READ THIS PM6-ers!!!)

Our days together is already getting shorter and shorter, so hopefully all of you can come for this class trip and put a beautiful full-stop to our college life, carrying back fond memories and remember that you were once a PM6-ers!!!

This trip will be set 5D4N in Pulau Perhentian (date not set yet..)
It is set 5D4N as the price diff is very little.
5D4N is RM400, on the other hand 4D3N is as much as RM 375!! So take 5D4N LAR!!

The other reason that i chose 5D4N is that we can have another day just for us to stay together. The place that we are going to stay is

D'Ayumni House - Pulau Perhentian Besar Kuala Besut, 22300 Terengganu.

The RM400 package includes all meals for the first 4 day and nights, the last day we will get our own food. We will be staying in one big chalet with 3 rooms, airconditioned with hot shower. Each room is initially meant for 5 ppl, but i think it will be enough to fit all of us since some of them will be sleeping in one bed >.<

The place is just beside a beach. so it is very convenient for the couples to have a stroll on the beach quietly at night. ^.^ And of course it is also very easy for us to go to play at a beach. In the package, they will bring us to other islands: Lang Tengah, Redang, Susu Dara(Virgin's Milk??) =.= and Pulau Rawa and we will snorkel there. Ferry fare is included too.

What is not included is the bus fare to terengganu where we have to take ferry to the island. However do not worry bout that as i will get the tickets and will tell you all where we meet later. kayaking, jungle trekking and other beach activities are not included so if u all want to play you must pay extra.

Basically the last day of our trip will be self activities. We will have more time staying together, maybe have some thought sharing session and some precious time expressing feelings "." We might plan some beach telematch in the morning, depends on who will volunteer to organize it. Someone can also bring football and we can have some beach soccer, and also water polo. if we are lucky we will be able to see ninja turtles.

Overall we will spend around RM500 for this trip. Hopefully all of you will come and join!!! Pls give opinions and if there are any enquiries pls contact me. PLEASE TELL ME WHETHER YOU CAN GO OR NOT ASAP!!!!!!

net generation - 30.

Dear TIG Member,
Enter our "Net Generation" video contest, share your thoughts, and win cool prizes!
"The Net Generation" means people ages 12 - 29 in other words, people who grew up with interactive technology: the Internet, mobile phones, music downloading, etc. You know who you are!

We want you to create a 2 to 5 minute video clip of what you think best describes the definition of your generation. For example, what do you value (having a cool job, being creative/innovative, the ability to multi-task, the openness/awareness the Internet provides, etc.) the most about your life and opportunities that your parents and previous generations didn't get to experience? You can submit videos to one of three categories:
1. What is your ideal customer experience?
2. What do you look for in a workplace?
3. What should people know about your generation?

Go crazy with it - you can make a music video, a short film, animation, a commercial - whatever! We want to see what you come up with! 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be given out in each of the three categories. Prizes include digital video cameras, digital cameras and web cams!> > For more information and to enter the contest visit: http://www.takingitglobal.org

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BOTH OF YA!! Hope you guys had a wonderful time celebrating it in college! :)

I Was 'Touched' and Feels Touched.. Pain but Happy!

Lol, the title sounds wrong.. Anyway juz wanna say THANK U ALL 4 making this a beautiful and memorable day for me.

From the Big Ass condom pack with nominal width of 52.5mm (Jenny, u expect your hubby to giv u a 106mm one?) to the Dai Chao with the nice nice marmite chicken, butter sotongs and gong bou chicken, then my first ever Birthday song with my name sang by my frens, then the agonizing experience of pepsi twist by the choco devil (if i ever got breast cancer or skin cancer around the area, i m gonna ask u to pay for the medical fees), then the very very pleasant surprise!!! My first own BDAY CAKE in idonohowmanyyears!!! I didnt know bout it until the class was finished. OMG... so happy.. Very nice cake.. Ashvin juz couldnt stop calling rhuban a GOD for giving him the cake.. And we know that KAKA nibbles tissue paper! Somehow they are fascinated by my skills in cutting cake and picking up the candle with my mouth... SKILLS.. Lol.. Had a great time!
Anyway juz want to tell ya all ARIGATO!!!! Love PM6 >.<

Oh, Genting!

*blows cobweb, dead bugs and dust away*

Wow, it's been a long time since this blog's any sign of life! *glares at fellow pm6-ians*

But anyway, here's me wishing all a very Happy 2007! It sure was amazing spending the very first few days of the new year with you guys! Post-trip, i'd like to recap everything that we've experienced for those who didn't (or couldn't) join us.

Behold, the A-Z of our Genting Trip! :-

Aww moment- what happened in the cable car me, Shireen, Becca, Wei Ting, Ho Meng and Tong Tong were sitting in.
AV problem- with the TV which the guys didn't know how to configure properly, which, in turn got them a scolding from the rude owner of the apartment. But they managed to after all, on the second night. Kudos, guys!

Burning eyes- which afflicted the more nocturnal ones who stayed up late playing Mafia, games on the PS2, chodaidi, Truth or Dare and just talking and having fun.
Bowling- oh what fun! Nico was the bomb though. What a pro!
Bumper Cars- Oooh, what fun! It was awesome ganging up to bang Rhuban and Nico who were in the same car. We ended up going for four times because we just couldn't get enough of it!

From oh, genting!

C-C-Cold!- the condition of the water that came gushing out of the taps in the toilets. Poor Rhubs and Ash were the first ones to experience its hypothermia-inducing properties while bathing. Also the obvious reason for Genting's existence.
Cockstaring- the mandatory thing needed to be good at playing Mafia, which we did too much of. (See 'B' and 'M')
Camwhore- ahaha, there's never a shortage of this, thanks to us gals!
Carousel- first ride we ended up with in the theme park, to the chagrin of the boys. Rhuban and Jun Hao rode on the same cock (erel) and the rest of us, horses. The mandatory camwhore resumed as the ride progressed. XD

From oh, genting!

Dizziness- from sitting in stooopid little teacups that swirl you round and round like water being flushed down a toilet bowl.

Expensive- the fast-food we consumed and the general word to describe items for sale in Genting.

Freaky- how the kitchen and the toilets looked like. Some of us gals didn't dare to lock the bathroom while we were using it for fear that some malevolent spirit might jump out from the sinkhole and choke us.

Ghosts- we met none of them, except for the freaky flapping of the kitchen door upon our arrival! Heehee. So much for Jennie's freakish ghost stories!

How many horses? -The devilishly boggling yet perfectly simple question executed by the evil Becca and Zyin who had the time of their lives torturing the whole class with it! (zyin, becca, try it on the rest who didn't come for the trip as a punishment! ^^)

Instant noodles- mostly what we survived on. Mmm...braised duck flavour...mmm...

Jack 'n' Jill- OMG!!!1111 Such good, such sinfully good potato chips. Thank you, person who brought the huge party pack of chips. =)
Jiayi- who organised the trip. Thank you, you've done a great job! (if not for the fact that you were late for the bus on the first day, haha)
Jun Hao- who ought to win a 'Nice Award' (as suggested by zyin and jen) cause he offered to wait for the missing Ho Meng and had to catch a different bus to Genting because of it.
Johny Whoops!- Another perplexingly obvious brain-game that had the class in hysterics.

Karaoke- what we wanted to do but couldn't afford to. RM 1488 for 18 people!??! Quoting Ash "We could play a lifetime of snooker instead!!"

Long- walk we endured while carrying all our heavy luggage from the Genting Skyway to the bloody far Ria Apartments. Grrr.

Mafia- a craze that developed and caught on so fast, by the end of the first night, we were all hooked on the game, staring unblinkingly at each other while we figure out how to kick the person beside the person beside the person sitting beside us's leg and proclaim him as a dead civilian.
Maintainence- A sign that we got sick of by the time we were through with the theme park. It just wasn't our day!

Night at the Museum- the movie we were supposed to watch at the Genting Cinema, but didn't get to.

Oh Shit Moment- In the Snowhouse at Snow World where I unknowingly went into, armed with handfuls of snow in hopes of pelting Rhuban with it when the guys around, spotted a girl in their midst and started piling and pelting snow at ME instead! Babi.

Pizza Hut- was where we ate on the evening of the second day. Go, pepperoni!

Queen-sized- beds in the penthouse, woohoo!

Rollercoasters- One word. Yay!
Ria- what we weren't at all when we reached the Ria Apartments.
Rubbish- strewn all over near the lift areas. The reason why we didn't feel 'ria'

Strepsils- Heavensent. Best thing ever invented in the world! (See 'W')
Space Shot- What we didn't get to experience. Aww booo...
Snooker- what the boys couldn't get enough of.
Snow World- Awesome place with a temperature of -5 degrees celcius, with a lot of potential for snowball fights and slipping. We couldn't feel our fingers at all after 45 minutes in there!

Theme park- Which was largely devoid of the usual crowds, but sadly, a lot of the rides were under maintainence.
Truth or Dare- Who'd miss the chance to see Zyin and Jun Hao kiss Jia Yi's cheek??
TongTong- what Jiayi's very-similar-to- himself cousin came to be known as after 3 days with us.

Urgent- need for transportation of a big group to First World plaza always leaves the aunty-with-a-car a lot richer and happier.

Venting- out frustrations with evil boyfriends to friends is the way to go. Not bottling it up and crying inside.

Water- which we were in dire need of but didn't have enough of. Lucky folk like Nico, Ash, Jun Hao, Rhuban and me succumbed to the evil clutches of the monster called Sore Throat. Joy.

Xcitement- overload.

Yells- of 'let's race up the stairs' and competing against two long-legged athletic figures (Ash and Rhub) does NOT work, even if you've had a headstart and especially if you're a teeny weeny midget.

Zombies- Literally the state we were all in by the time we were done with the trip, thanks to the lack of sleep.

All in all, the Genting Trip was fun, fun, fun! Let's do it all again!!! But for now, see you guys when college begins! Aww boo. Back to chemistry tutorials and assignments, ya'll. >.<

dateback: 05/05/06, futsal game!

*giggles with delight at her new discovery*

I'm euphoric!!! Google's Picasa is AWESOME (yala yala, jakun, I know) and frankly, it's a much better way to let people view your photos!! So, here are some loong overdued piccies of The Men of PM6 vs. the Even More Manly and Muscular Super Godlike Hot Thai Futsal Players, with the latter winning head-on due to obvious physical advantages. The scariest thing was, the only refreshment they brought was a kettleful of water (steroid-enhanced, maybe??) which they drank sparingly at only intervals while the boys glugged down water and 100plus like drought victims.

Here they are: TADA!!!

Kyaaah..any resurgence of nostalgia?? Anyone, anyone?? *whimpers when no one responds*

Ah, well, hope you like 'em. Have a blast, chortle at the craziness of it all and most of all, Enjoy da pics!

end: lab horror

And so, the very last physics lab session ended yesterday at 12.00 pm sharp, with muttered curses here abound as the vulture-like invigilators snatched up our papers (and half-written answers for some) with that 'Too Late' glare.

And what happened before that?

A graph, haphazardly drawn. Shit. Wrong axis!!! Numerous messy cancellations that resulted in a less-than-perfect table, frantic whispers and girraffe-necks came in handy as the vultures turned their backs. Answers copied, modified; and then copied again when a convenient flip and push of the person-next-to you's answer booklet ensued.

Remember the panic; the egging frustration,
Recall the hopeless agigation of seemingly-veritable 'tips' as they splashed across our mobile screens at 11.51 pm just when you've turned the last page of your pratical book for the night.
Revive the way the electric sparks danced of the copper wire as you tried- in vain to clip the lower portion of it- and received a stinging smart on the finger as a reward.

Ah, the very last practical exam of the year ended with a doubtful question mark, no doubt. But the incompetence of it all; the obvious knowing glances at each other, the splintered biurets and conical flasks, the devious schemes and ploys of cheating(wink 25 times for 25cubic cm, ya?) and slicing of pungent shrivelled onions on dirty white tiles we will miss.

To Jen, the best lab exam partner ever: A toast to our helpless, hapless ineptitude, may they last no longer!!!

a pic taken waaaay back in May, before the futsal game with the boys.

P.S.: I think the chem lab assistant likes girls. Or maybe evil midgets *perasan* I've broken, like, one filter funnel, and two test tubes and he still hasn't charged me anything. Oh wait, I think he does that to the guys too. Cheh.

Sorry to hear the news.

*leave your comments for Laveena. she needs our support in this difficult time and we can only imagine how difficult it is for her. so, PM6, lets keep her and her family in our prayers and be here for her as one family.*
